Cal Ripken Jr. was an All-Star. He played Shortstop/Thirdbase and he was also a right handed batter and a right handed thrower. He made is MLB debut August 10, 1981 with the the only team he played for in the MLB and thats the Baltimore Orioles. His Last MLB apperance was October 6, 2001 with the Baltimore Orioles. His Career Batting Average was .276, he had 3,184 hits, he also had 431 homeruns, and he had 1,695 runs batted in. Cal Ripken Jr. was an 19 time All-Star selection, world series champion, 2 time gold glove award winner, 8 time silver slugger award winner, 2 time AL MVP, 1982 rookie of the year, 2 time All-Star game MVP, 1992 Roberto Clamente Award, 1992 Lou Gehrig Memorial Award, And 1991 Homerun Derby Winner. He also was inducted in the Hall Of Fame in 2007.
